AR course will not place
Use a supported physical iPhone in a well-lit, clear room. Point down, scan several directions and positions, then hold steady when asked. Keep scanning or clear more floor if the card says “Open a longer lane” or “Find a clear lane.” After “Arena discovered,” the course follows the last stable phone direction. During preview, use two fingers to pinch its size or twist its heading; release to resume the countdown automatically. Camera permission must be enabled. Simulator Demo is available when physical AR is unavailable.
Jump estimates look different
Jump counts are estimates based on motion events and workout timing, not medical-grade measurements. Keep the phone secured and move consistently; Arena detects jumps automatically so you do not need to touch the screen while riding.
Apple Health is not updating
Open iOS Settings or the Health app and confirm that Hobby Horse Arena can write workouts and active energy. Health integration is optional; previous sessions are not retroactively rewritten when access changes.
Live Activity is missing
Confirm Live Activities are allowed for the app in iOS Settings and enabled inside Hobby Horse Arena. Availability can depend on iOS state and device settings.
Reset progress
Open Profile → Settings, scroll to Reset Progress, and confirm. This removes workout and Arena history, points, streaks, challenges, and badge progress; your rider and horse stay saved. It does not change your App Store purchase.
Safety
Always clear the room, inspect your equipment, warm up, and stop if movement feels unsafe. See the Terms of Use for the full fitness and AR safety notice.
